How workers & professions work

Workers run production buildings, community upgrades, trade booths, and your ship.

Where workers go

Estate buildings

Produce goods on your estate. Match the right profession and specialist. Training raises production speed up to 250%.

Community buildings

Assign workers to construct shared town buildings, including the endgame statue.

Academy & Library

Academy and Library train or pair workers. Each class takes 12 hours.

Market booths

Your personal booths in town. Assign Salesmen and Bargainers to sell. Other workers can sell there too but less effectively.

Guild Laboratory

Organizers help learners earn research points faster. Researchers generate blue vials for your tech tree and building unlocks.

Ship & Captain

Only the Captain commands the ship. Faster repair, battles, and moving goods between estates and towns.

Worker traits

Dexterous

~10% roll

Build speed 150% on any building construction.

Town recruitment

Each town level up, pick one of three random workers. Specialists, Captain, Salesman, or Bargainer. Reroll one slot for 20 pearls. Each reroll costs 20 pearls more.

Production speed tiers

Training at Academy or Library moves a worker up one tier. Each step adds 50% production speed.

Worker is on the wrong profession for this building. Starts at 100%. Can train up to 150%.

Stack manifests, mayor bonus, rest bonus, and building upgrade ×% on top of these tiers.
